Skoda has released a teaser sketch with the so-called CitiJet Concept, which will be unveiled later on this month, at Worthersee.
Skoda’s newest creation is a concept car called the CitiJet. No reason to say that this is based on the Citigo urban cruiser but it’s offered basically as a two-seater convertible, as we can see from the image posted above. The model in question has been created using the three-door version of the car by the company’s apprentices and it will remain a one-off concept car as there are no plans of putting it into production because, in a logical world, this should be first offered in a drop top variant with the VW badges on its body.
The Skoda CitiJet has received a metallic blue finish, 16-inch multi spoke alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and a dual exhaust arrangement. The cabin of the model has been based on the Sport trim level and it has red and white accents on the dashboard, part-leather trim, unique floor mats, LED ambient lighting, unique floor mats, an upgraded 300 watt sound system and some other tweaks. Power is being provided by a 1.0 liter MPI petrol burner, with 75 HP (55 kW), the same one used on the standard model, with a top speed of 170 km/h (106 mph).
