Skoda has recently announced its plans to introduce the new generation of the Fabia Combi during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, next week.
The Czech based automaker Skoda is getting ready to pull the wraps off the second body style of the new Fabia generation. The model in question, the Fabia Combi, will basically look as its five-door hatchback brother, except for the longer rear overhang, which will transform it into the vehicle with the biggest trunk in its class, as the company is stating. The cargo capacity will stand at an impressive 520 liters which can be transformed into 1,500 liters with the rear seats folded.
The new-gen Skoda Fabia Combi will be 90 mm wider and 31 mm lower than its predecessor and it will be taking its power from a range of three- and four-cylinder Euro 6 compliant engines. The gasoline lineup will include the 1.0 liter MPI with its 60 HP (44 kW) or the 110 HP (81 kW) 1.2 liter TSI, while the diesel lineup will include the 1.4 liter direct injected common rail turbo diesel unit, with 75 HP (55 kW) or with 105 HP (77 kW). The GreenLine frugal version will come in 2015 with 75 HP.
