Skoda has officially unveiled the brand new 2015 Fabia Combi, ahead of its public debut which will take place tomorrow, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
The Czech based automaker Skoda has finally put a stop to some rumors and renderings with the unveiling of the brand new 2015 Fabia Combi. The second body style of the B-segment vehicle is closely echoing the standard model but the company says that this is actually 10 mm longer, 90 mm wider and 31 mm lower. The vehicle is also lighter, by 55 kg (121 lbs), but compared to the standard one.
The interior design of the 2015 Skoda Fabia Combi has been packed with a MirrorLink system and with a SmartGate function, amongst others. The carmaker says that there are a lot of storage compartments and also a multimedia cradle which is capable of holding a smartphone or an iPod. One of the most important features of the vehicle is its boot, which is holding 530 liters (18.7 cubic feet), but this can be increased all the way up to 1,395 liters (49.2 cubic feet) with the rear seats folded down. As far as the engine lineup goes, there are six units available, ranging between 75 HP (55 kW) and 110 HP (81 kW) for both the petrol and the diesel burners.
