Skoda has recently dropped the price of the 2014 Fabia in Australia. The cheapest version of the model is now coming from 15,990 AUD, 3,300 AUD cheaper than before, while the Fabia Ambition 77TSI five-speed manual hatchback can be yours from 16,990 AUD, 4,000 AUD cheaper than before. This action has been taken in order to create room for the all-new Skoda Rapid Spaceback, which should arrive sometimes next month, in the Pacific country.

Some of the features which were previously standard, like the 270 AUD fog lights or the 240 AUD cruise control are now offered as optionals. The Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo is also down to 19,950 AUD, while the hot hatch version, the Fabia RS, is now 800 AUD cheaper, to 27,190 AUD, while the Fabia RS wagon costs 28,190 AUD. Skoda is also expected to start the development of a new Fabia generation, but there should be one or two years until the model in question will finally hit the dealerships.
