Skoda has released the first live images with the new Fabia R5 Combi concept currently on display at the 2015 Worthersee.
After it has been previewed just a few days ago, the brand new Skoda Fabia R5 Combi has officially made its public debut at the 2015 Worthersee, in a premiere. The vehicle is basically the estate version of the Fabia R5 rally car and it has some features added to it which include the distinctive white, green and black finish for its exterior design. The model has also received the black front grille, the more aggressive front and rear bumpers, the large rear spoiler, a centrally positioned exhaust pipe and the 18-inch alloy wheels.
“SKODA’s designers have reinterpreted the Fabia R5 as an estate model to create the surprising SKODA Fabia R5 Combi show car, with highlights including the green, white and black paint job, 18-inch alloys, powerful bumpers, flared mudguards and doorsills, as well as a huge rear spoiler”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
The Skoda Fabia R5 Combi concept is also coming with the roll cage, with the stripped out interior, with a digital instrument cluster, the Sparco steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and several other things will be helping it stand out. Under its hood, the 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine is found. This is connected to the 5-speed sequential transmission sending power to the all-wheel drive system. Unfortunately Skoda didn’t have much to say about this one-off model so chances are we will be seeing it again during another automotive event.
