The new Skoda Fabia Combi generation has been rendered as a Scout once again and we have to admit that such a model doesn’t look half bad.
Did you ever wonder what the Skoda Fabia Scout would look like in a new generation? Well, I’m sure you do, if you are a fan of the company at least, but such a model has been rendered once again. The images posted below have been signed by Theophilus Chin and they are providing us with a first look into a possible production version of the new Skoda Fabia Scout. Keep in mind that such a model hasn’t been confirmed at the moment but never say never to a more practical version of the vehicle which has the ability of being taken off the road.
The new generation of the Skoda Fabia Combi has been created using the PQ25 platform. The vehicle has grown in size compared to its predecessor but thanks to the use of some new materials and the above mentioned platform, its total weight has dropped significantly. Skoda says that the new Fabia Combi generation is now 10 mm longer, 90 mm wider and 31 mm longer than the previous generation and a total of 55 kg have been shed off its total weight. The luggage capacity of the car is still impressive and it stands at 530 liters or even 1,395 liters with the rear seats folded. The engine lineup in the model includes six petrol and diesel units ranging between 75 HP (55 kW) and 110 HP (81 kW).
