Two special editions of the Skoda Rapid, the SE Connect and the Sport, have been recently introduced in the United Kingdom.
According to the Czech based automaker, the new Skoda Rapid SE Connect has received a number of goodies such as the Amundsen satellite navigation system with support for DAB radio, the rear parking sensors or the 16-inch Antia alloy wheels. The model in question can be ordered with a Brilliant Silver or a Denim Blue paint and it will be powered by an 86 HP (63 kW) 1.2 liter TSI engine. The vehicle has received 3,665 GBP worth of goodies.
Besides the Rapid SE Connect, Skoda has also introduced the Rapid Sport in the United Kingdom. This doesn’t have anything in common with the concept car wearing the same name and it’s adding 1,250 GBP equipment worth like the black mirrors, the rear spoiler, the sports seats, the steel pedals, front fog lights, sunset glass, 17-inch Ray black alloy wheels and more. The Skoda Rapid Sport will be available with a 105 HP (77 kW) 1.2 liter TSI engine. Prices for the Rapid SE Connect will start at 12,990 GBP and production will be limited to 800 units while the Rapid Sport will cost 15,630 GBP and 200 units will be made.
