A performance version of the new generation Skoda Fabia, the Fabia RS, is not going to b hitting the market, as a company official has told inautonews.com.
The new generation of the Skoda Fabia is close to being introduced but if you were expecting the performance Fabia RS version, you will be disappointed, considering the fact that the car manufacturer is not planning of introducing such a model. According to a company official, the new Fabia generation will be introducing, besides the regular versions, the Monte Carlo derivative.
“The new ŠKODA Fabia will be available next to the standard version as a ŠKODA Fabia Monte Carlo derivate. This design package offers customers dynamic sporty look and feel and is available with many engine and gearbox options”, as the Skoda official told inautonews.com.
The 2015 Skoda Fabia will be coming with a 1.0 liter three-cylinder direct injected MPI unit, in the petrol range, and it will end with the 1.2 liter TSI, with outputs ranging between 60 HP and 110 HP, while the diesel lineup will include the 75 HP and 105 HP 1.4 liter three-cylinder common rail direct injected, along with a 1.4 liter TDI with 55 kW. The new generation of the Skoda Fabia will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October.
