Skoda has announced its plans to launch the new Octavia Combi 4×4 over the following months.
The new generation of the Skoda Octavia is getting ready to receive one new member, which is the Octavia Combi 4×4. According to the Czech based automaker, the new generation of the Skoda Combi 4×4 will become available to its future customers in two trim levels, the Ambition and the Elegance. The AWD system is sending most of the power to the front wheels, under normal operating conditions, and the rear axle comes is in only when necessary. Both axles have the EDL (Electronic Differential Lock).
The 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi 4×4 will be launched with a choice of three engines, the 1.6 liter TDI diesel, which is good for 103 HP, the 2.0 liter TDI diesel, producing 148 HP, and the “classic” 1.8 liter TSI turbo petrol, which is now producing a total output of 177 HP. The diesel units are available with a six-speed manual transmission, while the petrol version is getting the 6-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The new generation of the Skoda Octavia Combi 4×4 will be launched in June.
