A new body style of the Skoda Octavia, the four-door Coupe, will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
The Czech based automaker Skoda is planning to introduce a new body style of the outgoing Octavia at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, which will come as a four-door coupe. An official announcement in this case hasn’t been made official just yet but according to the guys at Auto Express, the model in question will ride on the same MQB platform as the new Octavia, which is also used by the new Golf, A3 and Leon, and it should have the same wheelbase, of 2,686 mm.
The new Skoda Octavia Coupe will get a steeply raked windscreen, a lower roofline and some other design tweaks. The rear headroom will be affected by the new design but the boot space will remain unchanged from the standard version, which has approximately 1,500 liters with the rear seats down. The main rival for the Skoda Octavia Coupe, if we can call it a rival, is the VW Passat CC but this can also become a cheaper alternative to more expensive models like the CLS or the 6-Series Gran Coupe. More details on the new Skoda Octavia Coupe are limited for the moment.
