The aftermarket specialists from mcchip-dkr have recently created an upgrade program for the diesel version of the new Skoda Octavia Combi RS.
The Skoda Octavia Combi RS Diesel can indeed become one hot ride and this is happening these days thanks to the German based tuning company called mcchip-dkr. According to the tuner, the model in question is now fitted with sport suspension springs for 179 euros, which are lowering the ride height by 30 mm front and rear and with a fresh set of 19-inch black alloy wheels, covered in Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires, 235/35 in size, available for an extra 1,590 euros.
The most interesting changes can be found under the hood of the Skoda Octavia RS Combi Diesel, where the 2.0 liter TDI engine is resting. The guys from mcchip-dkr have squeezed a total output of 215 HP (158 kW) and a peak torque of 415 Nm (306 lb-ft) which is significantly more than what the standard unit has to offer, 184 HP (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. The tuning company says that the power package has been priced from 849 euros, so upgrading your ride doesn’t turn out to be that expensive in this case.
