Skoda is planning to introduce the new Octavia Scout during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, which will be opening its gates next month.
After announcing the debut of the Octavia Coupe Concept, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Czech based automaker Skoda is entering our news once again, this time with another version of the new Octavia generation. We’re talking about the so-called Octavia Scout, which is believed to be making its public debut too, during the Swiss automotive event. The announcement hasn’t been made official yet, but according to Autocar, the model has also received the green lights for production.
The brand new Skoda Octavia Scout will be getting an SUV-inspired styling, with an aggressive design, with larger front and rear bumpers, a wider air intake, new fog lights, protective side mouldings, extended wheel arches and others. The ride height of this model has been raised by 33 mm and it’s now riding on 17-inch alloy wheels. The all-wheel drive system, the fifth-gen Haldex, will become available for this model. Two diesel and one petrol engine will be offered on the vehicle. Our source is saying that the Skoda Octavia Scout will be hitting the market this year. More details on it will be announced in Geneva.
