The Czech based automaker Skoda is preparing a new logo for its models, along with a new font (typeface) which should be applied soon.
Skoda has big plans for its future models and besides producing updated versions of some of the vehicles, new generations and even brand new models to hit the market by the end of this year or in the nearby future, the car manufacturer is also planning to upgrade the logo used on its vehicle lineup. Two more Skoda vehicles will gain the company’s new logo, the Fabia and the Roomster, and this will be the one previewed by the VisionD Concept back in 2011.
Besides the company’s new logo, which will be applied onto the current and upcoming models, the Czech based automaker is also planning a new typeface, or font, for its name and model designations. This was first seen on the production version of the Citigo small urban vehicle and it was also applied onto the Rapid compact car, which recently went on sale in Europe, following the Asian launch. The Fabia and the Roomster will be next ones to get the new lettering and they will be followed by the new generation of the Octavia in its numerous forms.
