The all-new Skoda Rapid has been recently spotted on a highway in Czech Republic, about 100 km from the company’s plant near Mlada Boleslav.
Even if the Skoda Rapid isn’t available in Europe just yet and the model has been launched only in India, with China starting its production not too long ago, the guys at carspyshots.net managed to capture the vehicle on a motorway in the Czech Republic, about 100 km from Mlada Boleslav. The Skoda Rapid in question is probably being tested on European roads and it’s getting ready for its future customers on the Old Continent, once it will hit the market at the end of this year.
As a quick reminder, the Skoda Rapid has been previewed as a concept car back in September 2011, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapid is 4,39 meters long, 1,70 meters wide and 1,40 meters tall and it will come with a choice of two engines, on the Indian market at least, both of them with the 1.6 liter displacement, with one of them being a petrol burner and the other one a diesel. The output delivered by the two units is just over 100 horsepower. The Skoda Rapid will be launched in Europe in late 2012 and it will fill the gap between the Fabia and the Octavia.
