The all-new Skoda Rapid has been recently spotted on the Nurburgring track in Germany while it was being tested by the company.
After the Skoda Rapid has been photographed just last week on a Czech Republic highway without any camouflage, the model is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time by the guys at autoblog.it, who managed to catch the new model while it was being tested on the Nurburgring. The Skoda Rapid isn’t available in Europe just yet but the vehicle has been already launched in India, and China started producing it not too long ago. The Skoda Rapid will slot between the Fabia and the Octavia models, once it will hit the market.
As a quick reminder, the Skoda Rapid is 4,39 meters long, 1,70 meters wide and 1,40 meters tall and on the Indian auto market is coming with two engines, a diesel and a petrol burner, both of them with the 1.6 liter displacement and both developing just over 100 horsepower. The Skoda Rapid will be launched in Europe in late 2012 and this is probably only the beginning with the model being tested on the Old Continent. The Skoda Rapid has been previewed by the MissionL Concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
