The Skoda Rapid Combi, or the Spaceback as it will be known, has been recently spied while being tested on a highway.
The Czech based automaker isn’t loosing time with creating new versions of its models and even if it was officially unveiled on the Old Continent just a few months ago, during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Rapid is now getting ready to receive a new variant. We’re talking about a Combi, which will probably be named the Spaceback. The model has been spied while being tested on the road and the only thing different is its rear end. The front fascia remains identical to the regular Rapid, along with its interior design.
Additional details on the Skoda Rapid Combi remain unknown for the moment, but as a quick reminder, the sedan is coming with a variety of engines under its hood, including the 1.6 liter TDI with 88 HP and 230 Nm of torque or with 103 HP and 250 Nm of torque, the new 1.2 MPI with 74 HP and 112 Nm of torque, the 1.2 TSI turbocharged with 84 HP and 160 Nm of torque or 103 HP and 175 Nm and the 1.4 TSI with 121 HP And 200 Nm. The model is 4,483 mm long, 1,706 mm wide and 1,461 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,602 mm.
