Skoda has announced the debut of a new Rapid version, the Monte Carlo, for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Besides introducing the Superb SportLine, Skoda will also pull the wraps off the Rapid Monte Carlo during the same 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, next week. The model in question will be getting the sportier look and the package is offering the black look for the radiator grill frame, the front and rear bumpers, the door sills, the side mirrors and the faux rear diffuser.
The upcoming Skoda Rapid Monte Carlo will also be getting a fresh set of wheels, 16- or 17-inch in size, along with the Monte Carlo badge added to the B pillars, the tinted windows and taillights and several other goodies. Things will not stop here for the special version of the vehicle as this will also receive the xenon headlights in standard, along with the tinted fog lights.
The car will also gain features such as the heated side mirrors, which will be electrically adjustable, along with the three-spoke sportier steering wheel in the cabin, wrapped in leather, along with the same material applied to the handbrake and gear lever. The sports seats are said to be exclusive for this particular model. We have no clue at this point on what engine lineup Skoda will be using for the new Rapid Monte Carlo but chances are the entire batch of units from the standard car will be found on it. More details on the topic are limited for the moment and will be announced at the German automotive event.
