The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently announced the production start of the Rapid Spaceback in Mlada Boleslav, ahead of the vehicle’s public debut scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The first units of the brand new Skoda Rapid Spaceback have recently rolled off the assembly line at the company’s facility in Mlada Boleslav. The model in question is no surprise for anyone anymore as it has been caught on camera numerous times, while being tested on public roads, with camouflage on its body, naked or with Fabia Combi badges.
“The newest member of the expanding SKODA family, the Rapid Spaceback, has officially joined the line-up. The first customer cars have left the production line at the brand’s main factory in Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic”, says the carmaker in its official press release.
The Skoda Rapid Spaceback is the newest addition to company’s vehicle fleet, which will be slotted between the Fabia Combi and the Octavia Combi. The model in question will be powered by an array of petrol and diesel engines, with outputs ranging from 73 HP to 120 HP. The Skoda Rapid Spaceback will be officially presented to the public on September 10, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
