The first leaked images with the brand new Skoda Rapid Spaceback have recently hit the web, revealing us what the company wanted to keep away from everyone, until its official launch.
The Czech based automaker Skoda has already tested the new Rapid Spaceback a few weeks ago, but the images war poor quality and its shape couldn’t be seen that well. Not anymore because now we can finally take a look at the model closer, thanks to a couple of images which have leaked all over the web. The wagon version of the Skoda Rapid is actually named the Spaceback, unlike its larger brother, the Octavia, which is known as the Combi.
The new Skoda Rapid Spaceback has longer rear doors, a sloping tailgate, large rear quarter windows and some other tweaks. The engine options are expected to be carried over from the regular version, and this means that we will see the 90 HP 1.6 TDI, the 75 HP 1.2 liter MPI, the 86 HP 1.2 TSI and the 122 HP 1.4 TSI. The Skoda Rapid Spaceback is expected to be unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment.
