The brand new Skoda Rapid Spaceback has been recently spotted on the road while it was being tested, without any camouflage on its body.
The Czech based automaker Skoda is now working on a brand new version of the Rapid, which will be an estate, but rather than naming it the Combi, like its larger brother, the Octavia, the model will be known as the Spaceback. The Skoda Rapid Spaceback has been spotted on a public road, where it was being tested recently. The model in question had no camouflage on its body and the company thought that the model could pass on as a Fabia.
The new Skoda Rapid Spaceback has longer rear doors, a sloping tailgate, large rear quarter windows and some other tweaks. The engine options are expected to be carried over from the regular version, and this means that we will see the 90 HP 1.6 TDI, the 75 HP 1.2 liter MPI, the 86 HP 1.2 TSI and the 122 HP 1.4 TSI. The Skoda Rapid Spaceback is expected to be unveiled during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment.
