The new generation of the flagship Skoda Superb has been recently rendered in a new Combi body style, which is expected to be introduced later on this year.
Since the previous generation of the Skoda Superb was also offered in a more practical Combi body style, chances of the new one receiving such a version are quite high. The two images posted below are nothing more than simple renderings of the model but since we are expecting this to become real in the near future, they are a good exercise for the imagination.
The newest body style of the Skoda Superb will be different in the rear end, which will become more practical, and we can spot some similarities to its smaller brother, the Octavia. The model in question will be exactly identical to the already available variant and it will get the same interior design and the same engine and transmission lineup.
The 2016 Skoda Superb is getting a slender grille, a sculpted hood, shorter front overhangs, bi-xenon optional headlights with integrated LED DRLs, LED taillights offered as standard and a slightly sloping roof line. The interior design of the model is packing the tri-zone climate control, new infotainment system, panoramic glass roof, 12-speaker Canton audio system and an umbrella in each front door along with a tablet holder for the rear seat. The petrol engine lineup will be ranging between 125 HP (92 kW) and 280 HP (206 kW) and the diesel range between 120 HP (88 kW) and 190 HP (140 kW).
