New renderings with the Skoda Superb in a Scout body style have just hit the web and they might be offering us with a preview of the next version of the midsized vehicle.
Some are placing the Skoda Superb against larger models such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the Audi A6 or the BMW 5-Series but let’s not forget that this has the same size as a Volkswagen Passat and one of its direct rivals is the Ford Mondeo. But what would you say to yet another version of the new Skoda Superb, added besides the current sedan and estate, which will be called the Scout.
The two images posted below are nothing more than simple renderings, so keep that in mind if you are planning to head over to your local Skoda dealership. The vehicle has received an increased ride height, some plastic body cladding, underbody protection and that’s about all. The result is a vehicle which can be taken near the road for a few spins but if we are going to really see it in a dealership nearby is unknown at this point since Skoda isn’t telling us anything about it. The new Skoda Superb Combi has a trunk capacity of 660 liters, 27 more than before, which can be transformed into 1,950 liters, with the rear seats folded. The wheelbase is 2,841 mm and the front and rear tracks stand at 1,584 mm and 1,572 mm, respectively. In the UK, the cheapest model can be yours from 19,840 GBP and for the range-topping L&K 4×4 you will have to pay 35,040 GBP.
