Daimler has officially announced its plans to offer a new Edition 1 of the recently unveiled Smart ForFour.
Playing its cards just like with new models signed by Mercedes-Benz, which have received Edition 1 versions, Daimler is also announcing such a variant of the recently unveiled Smart ForFour. The model in question will be receiving the graphite gray body which is combined with the lava orange or the black tridion safety cell, the 10 mm lowered sports suspension system, the 16-inch black alloy wheels, the panoramic roof with sunblind, the black front grille and several other features which will help it differentiate from the regular version of the four-door city car.
The new Smart ForFour Edition 1 will also be coming with velour floor mats in the cabin, with black and orange fabric seats, with chrome door handles, with a three-spoke multi function steering wheel, a 3.5-inch TFT instrument cluster, on-board computer, audio system, automatic climate control, leather gear knob, stainless steel pedals with rubber studs or the chrome tailpipe in the rear. No pricing details on the new Smart ForFour Edition 1 have been announced yet but this will most likely be offered in the models’ first 12 months of production.
