Smart ForTwo Cabrio MOSCOT Edition is based on the old model image

Smart has officially pulled the wraps off a new special edition of the ForTwo, based on the old model, which has been called the ForTwo Cabrio MOSCOT.

Despite a new generation of the Smart ForTwo is already available for order in most markets, the Daimler owned company is revealing a special edition of the ForTwo Cabrio, which has been called the MOSCOT. The model has been designed in order to celebrate MOSCOT’s 100th anniversary and it will also mark the end of the life for the current ForTwo Cabrio. The carmaker says that all units of the special edition are coming with deep glossy black panels, a matte yellow tridion safety cell with a matte accent stripe, glossy black finished with a yellow ring BRABUS Monoblock VII alloy wheels and so on.

The limited edition of the Smart ForTwo Cabrio is also getting the BRABUS spoiler lip, a black and yellow theme in the cabin, black leather on the seats, on the instrument cluster, on the door paneling, on the knee pad and door pockets, a 3-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel, the Edition MOSCOT floor mats with nubuck leather trim and so on. Smart is also offering the 10 mm lowered suspension and all 100 units of the model will be powered by the 1.0 liter 3-cylinder turbocharged unit, rated at 102 HP (75 kW) and connected to the 5-speed manual transmission. Prices for the model will begin at 29,524 EUR in Germany and deliveries will begin this summer.
