Smart has officially pulled the wraps off a special ForTwo Citybeam edition during the Brussels Motor Show, in a premiere.
The second generation of the Smart ForTwo is close to leaving the production line as the model will soon receive a replacement and it seems that the only things which are keeping it going so far are some special editions. The newest special edition of the Smart ForTwo has been officially presented to the public, in a premiere, during the 2014 Brussels Motor Show and it’s wearing the ForTwo Citybeam name, getting some interesting updates which should make it more popular than the standard car.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Smart ForTwo Citybeam Edition is based on the Passion trim and it’s coming with black vinyl seats with silver fabric inserts, an instrument cluster clad in faux leather, two-tone knee pad, titanium tinted headlights, three-spoke aluminum wheels and some other tweaks. As far as the engine goes, the naturally-aspirated three-cylinder unit, with its 70 HP, the turbocharged version with 83 HP or the 74 HP electric motor will become available for this model. The diesel option has been dropped out. More details on the Smart ForTwo Citybeam Edition are limited for the moment.
