Mercedes-Benz has announced two new special edition packages available for the E-Class in the Coupe and Convertible body styles.
According to the German based automaker, the first one is called the V8 Edition and it has been based on the E500 Coupe and E500 Convertible, bringing the V8 Edition badging, the standard Agility Control sports suspension system with adaptive damping system, improved sport mode, titanium grey finished 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light alloy wheels and so on.
The cabin of the vehicle is adding the black Nappa or porcelain leather upholstery for the multicontour front seats, perforated flat bottomed steering wheel, Nappa leather armrests, contrast stitching, black Nappa leather wrapped dashboard and instrument panel, updated infotainment system, Apple CarPlay compatibility, tri-zone automatic climate control system and much more. The V8 Edition package costs 7,973 euros in Germany.
Next comes the Sport Edition which is also aimed towards the two body styles of the current E-Class, the Coupe and the Convertible. These are adding the aggressive front fascia, the faux rear diffuser, the muscular side skirts, 18-inch AMG lightweight alloy wheels, the dual exhaust system with trapezoidal tips and more. In the cabin we can find the linarite blue and alpaca grey contrast stitching, multicontour front seats, cross-grain bright aluminum trim, stainless steel pedals, special floor mats, 3-spoke sports steering wheel and others. The Sport Edition package costs 4,367.30 euros.
