The new generation of the Nissan X-Trail has been recently spied while being tested in hot weather, wearing a lot of camouflage on its body.
The Nissan X-Trail is probably one of the best vehicles combining two segments, the segment of urban crossovers and the segment of off-roaders, quickly becoming highly appreciated amongst its buyers. But let’s not forget that the outgoing version of the Nissan X-Trail has been on the market for quite some time and the carmaker is getting ready to replace it with a whole new generation. The new generation of the Nissan X-Trail has been spotted testing in hot weather, but its duck tape-like camouflage won’t let you see any of its lines.
Remove that camouflage and you will be able to see that boxy shape which has made it popular. Rumors are saying that the new generation of the Nissan X-Trail will actually be based on the Hi-Cross Concept which has been unveiled last year, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The concept was 4,660 mm ling, 1,850 mm wide and 1,670 mm tall. The Hi-Cross was powered by a 2.0 liter petrol engine, helped by an electric motor. The new generation of the Nissan X-Trail is expected to be unveiled in 2014, during the Geneva Motor Show.
