The famous BMW tuner, which is also recognized as a carmaker, Alpina, has been recently spotted while testing its very own version of the 6-Series Gran Coupe.
After enlightening us with new upgraded BMW vehicles last year in Paris and this year in Geneva, and not only, Alpina is now getting ready to add yet another car to its impressive lineup, the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. The model in question has been caught on camera recently, by our spy photographers, while it was being tested on public roads. Alpina has to make sure that everything is working just like it should, before launching the new model.
The new Alpina 6-Series Gran Coupe has a modified fascia and rear spoiler, some tweaks in the cabin, the iconic Alpina wheels and much more. The most interesting part of the model is found under its hood where the engine is now producing 100 HP more than the standard 650o Gran Coupe. This should give the car a total output of 545 HP. Additional details on the new Alpina 6-Series Gran Coupe are limited for the moment and will probably be announced in a couple of months, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, when the model might make its public debut.
