The highly anticipated BMW M2 Coupe has been caught on camera by our spy photographers while it was being tested out.
The development of a true M version of the 2-Series Coupe is no longer a surprise because the model in question has been spied numerous times and it is beginning the new year with yet another set of spy shots, which are showing it in some heavy snow, at the famous Nurburgring, in Germany. The images posted below are revealing the design of the upcoming performance car and even if some light camouflage has been added to the lower part of its body, we can still see most of its lines and in fact the snow is represents a bigger problem for spotting its looks rather than the camouflage.
The brand new BMW M2 Coupe is looking sporty an aggressive, having a very wide front axle, a wider rear track than the one of the standard M235i, which is the current range topping version, what seems to be the production front bumper with the typical M air intakes, the M style twin exhaust pipes, the brake calipers similar to the ones of the M3 and M4 and several other tweaks. Rumor has it that the 3.-liter inline six-cylinder engine, the N55B30T0, will be found under its hood. This should produce about 380 HP. The BMW M2 Coupe is expected to be introduced by the end of this year, as a 2016 model year, and we will probably see it at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
