The solid roof version of the Jaguar F-Type, the Coupe, has been recently spied while it was being tested.
Jaguar has denied the development of an F-Type Coupe after some leaked images have ended up on the web and the carmaker said that that was simply the C-X16 Concept. That won’t happen again because the British based automaker is clearly testing the solid roof version of the impressive roadster and once this will hit the market, it will become a Porsche Boxster and Cayman fighter, proving once again that Jaguar takes its sports cars, and not only, seriously.
The final production version of the Jaguar F-Type Coupe is expected to come, just like the drop-top, in three versions, with three engines, with the base model getting 340 HP from a 3.0 liter V6, the mid-range receiving a 3.0 liter V6 with 380 HP and the top of the line coming with 459 HP from a 5.0 liter supercharged V8. All units are expected to be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, signed by ZF. Additional details on the Jaguar F-Type Coupe are limited for the moment and will probably be announced close to its launch.
