The facelifted version of the Kia Sportage has been recently spotted while being tested in the United States, with a lot of camouflage on its body.
The South Korean based automaker Kia has big plans for its future models and it’s not leaving anything to “luck”. One of these upcoming vehicles is the Kia Sportage, which, in a facelifted version, has been spied while being tested in the hot climate of the United States, in southwest desert. Just like every other facelift operated by most carmakers, the 2015 Kia Sportage is expected to receive a new front fascia and a modified rear end.
In order to differentiate from the current version, the Kia Sportage facelift will probably get a new front bumper, a modified front grille, updated headlights, new taillights, a different rear bumper and some other tweaks. Changes might also be applied on small parts of the cabin too. As for the engine lineup, it remains unclear for the moment whether Kia will update the units or will simply continue to offer the same ones, in the same configurations. The 2015 Kia Sportage facelift is expected to make its way onto the market in 2014. Additional details on the model will be announced close to its debut.
