The brand new Porsche 911 GT2 has been recently spied naked while it was being tested on the Nurburgring.
One of the most awaited versions of the new Porsche 911 generation, the 911 GT2, is getting closer and closer to its future customers and in order to make sure that everything works just like it should, and to make some small adjustments, the model has been caught testing, by our spy photographers, on the Nurburgring. The images posted below will give you more than a glimpse on the upcoming Porsche 911 GT2 because the sports car isn’t wearing any camouflage on its body.
The new Porsche 911 GT2 is borrowing the mechanical package of the new Turbo S , along with the 3.8 liter flat six-cylinder twin turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 560 HP. The unit will be mated to a dual clutch automatic transmission which will help the sports car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.0 seconds, before reaching a top speed of just over 320 km/h. The 911 Turbo S’ four-wheel drive system will be ditched for a rear-wheel drive. The RS version is expected to get approximately 620 HP, once it will hit the market in 2015. The new Porsche 911 GT2 should be unveiled next year, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
