The facelift version of the Ford Focus has been recently spotted testing, in right-hand drive, on a mountain road, with light camouflage on its body.
The North American based automaker Ford hasn’t been producing the new generation of the Focus for a long time, but considering the fact that the company has adopted the “Aston Martin” inspired front grille, this had to be adopted on its popular C-segment hatchback too. The facelift comes right after the same grille has been fitted onto the new generation of the Fiesta, not too long ago, and, no matter how secret Ford wanted to keep the updated Focus, the first spy images with the model have been taken by our photographers.
The upper grille in the facelifted version of the Ford Focus is much deeper than the one used on the outgoing version and the number plate has been fitted much lower. Besides the new front grille, which will be adopted on the facelifted Ford Focus, the popular C-segment hatchback will probably receive some minor updates in the cabin too. The 2014 Ford Focus is expected to make its way onto the market early next year. Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
