With this June a new season has arrived to explore the not so new cars in the market. There are so many tuned cars available to get some attentions and so does the Audi A4 Cabrio which is tuned by Sport Wheels.
A modification kit has been released by the German aftermarket developer for the Audi A4 Cabrio. This vehicle has been out of the market since the year 2008 and finally seen by the tuner who added an engine which is borrowed from the Volkswagen Golf GTI MK V. Its 2.0 liter TFSI unit has potential to produce straight 200 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. With this gracious addition, the unit has also gifted with a new exhaust system, available with four stainless steel pipes, where each pipe measures at 83 mm in diameter. Besides, the tuner has also added an interesting ECU remap.
Well, what could be the final output of this car after the tech play? Some additional 20 hp or so…Not at all. This powerplant after modifications has received enormous power that delivers 250 horsepower and 372 Nm of torque. Though this is not the great out of all 2.0 TFSI kit available in the market, but at least it manages well to offer a surprising output that was possible after the increase in power. Unfortunately, the new performance specs have not offered by Sport Wheels.
In order to offer the output comfortably and to handle the additional power as well as torque, the tuner has examined it on the road. It has also installed the Variant 3 suspension, new 20-inch Eta Beta Tettsut X-ceramic alloy wheels with five spoke design and are covered in Dunlop Sport Maxx GT rubber. 245/30 size of tires offer a high-level of grip to the car.
