The Japanese based automaker Toyota has just launched a sporty version named the Prius G which will be available on the local market only.
According to the car manufacturer, the Toyota Prius G is actually based on the S trim level and the model will only be available in Japan. The Toyota Prius G is stepping forward from the rest of the Prius family with its aggressive exterior design and improved handling. The Japanese carmaker says that the Toyota Prius G has been developed with the backing of Gazoo Racing and the model is coming with a more focused suspension setup, thanks to altered springs and shocks.
Besides its improved suspension, the sporty Prius G has an aggressive body kit and it’s sitting on large 18 inch aluminum wheels. The model is also differentiating from other Prius versions through a bigger muffler and racing stripes but even if the Toyota Prius G has an aggressive body kit and other features, the vehicle didn’t receive a power boost and this might not have been a wise choice for the company’s engineers. Toyota says that the prices for the Prius G have been set at JPY2.84 million which is translated into 36.600 USD and the model will only be available in Japan.
