A damaged example of the Ferrari 458 Spider is the subject of this article as the model in question has been spotted on the back of a trailer.
The newest addition to our Car Crashes category is this particular example of the Ferrari 458 Spider. The red finished supercar, with yellow braking calipers and silver wheels, has been spotted on the back of a trailer with a damaged front end. According to Wrecked Exotics, the model in question has been spotted in Sacramento, CA, but our source isn’t saying how this ended up looking like this so if you happen to know, please feel free to share.
Meanwhile we will remind you that the Ferrari 458 has been in production between 2009 and 2015, when it was replaced by the 488 GTB. The supercar was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and it was offered in two body styles, a 2-door coupe, the 458 Italia, and a 2-door roadster, the 458 Spider, both of them getting the same rear-mid engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Under the hood, the 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine is found, producing 562 HP (419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 458 Spider was brought to the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and it can do the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration as fast as the solid roof version, with the top speed standing in at 320 km/h (199 mph).
