A couple of fresh images with the facelifted version of the Fiat 500 have ended up on the web.
The 2016 Fiat 500 is no longer a surprise for anyone as the carmaker has already confirmed its updated version and spy photographers have provided the media with enough images. However, despite Fiat has “pulled a Porsche on us” in designing the updated 500, the model is still coming with enough fresh features to ensure its success. The two images posted below are slightly revealing its front quarter side and the interior design.
However, despite the images being clear enough, it’s hard to say exactly what the car manufacturer did because the changes aren’t that striking. We can see the reshaped lower grille on the front bumper, the new graphics for the headlights, the larger fog lamps which seem to be inspired by the ones of the 500X crossover, the non-digital climate controls in the cabin, the reshaped steering wheel, a new infotainment system with integrated controls on the center console and several other tweaks. Chances are the model seen here is not in the range-topping version so we can expect some other fresh touches. Fiat will officially unveil the “new” 500 on the 4th of July and it will be offered for sale this fall. Chances are it will be brought to the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show too, which will be opening its gates in September.
