The new generation of the Audi R8, finished in Mythos Black, has been caught on camera recently.
It may have been officially unveiled earlier this year but it’s not like we get to see it out on the open road that often. We’re talking about the new generation of the Audi R8, which as returned to our attention with the help of these images, signed by the guys from Autogespot. The model in question is wearing the Mythos Black metallic shade on its body and it has been captured on camera in Karlsruhe, Germany, with its 19-inch alloy wheels finished in glossy anthracite black, covered by the 245/35 and 295 tires, front to rear, covering the grey brake calipers.
We can also notice the LED headlights, which are being offered as standard on the exotic model, along with the LED taillights, the prominent shoulder line, the large diffuser, the trapezoidal exhaust and several other goodies. Under its hood, we can find the 5.2 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, which has been upgraded and it is now being offered in two output levels., with 540 HP (397 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft), in the entry-level model, and with 610 HP (449 kW) and 650 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque, in the range-topping R8 V10 Plus. The new generation of the Audi R8 has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, back in March, and it has been based on the Lamborghini Huracan.
