Several images with the upcoming Range Rover Evoque Cabrio have hit the web recently, bringing the model into our attention once again.
There is no surprise that Land Rover is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off the new Range Rover Evoque Cabrio as the model in question has been confirmed a few months back but what comes as something new is its development, which seems to be far more advanced than we actually thought. The images posted below are showing us, in low quality however, how the model in question will be looking like and it seems that they are revealing the drop-top crossover while filming its ad.
The vehicles’ looks don’t surprise anyone as we already knew that the 3-door version will be used for developing it. This will be getting a retractable soft top, along with a revised rear end and an integrated spoiler. As far as the engine lineup goes, the units will most likely be carried over from the facelifted version so expect to get the 240 HP (177 kW) Si4 petrol turbocharged along with the TD4 Ingenium TD4 turbodiesel, producing 150 HP (110 kW) or 180 HP (132 kW). Chances are we will get to see the new Range Rover Evoque Cabrio, in a world premiere, at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, which will be opening its gates this September, but keep in mind that the company hasn’t announced an official launch date for it.
