Our spy photographers have managed to capture the new generation of the Audi Q7 on camera, while it was being tested on public roads, in Spain.
The German based automaker Audi is currently working on a new generation of the popular Q7 and the model in question has been already caught on camera by our spy photographers while it was being tested. The images posted below are showing a test mule of the 2015 Audi Q7 but because of its heavy camouflage, we can’t tell you about its major modifications but we notice the beefier fenders, the shorter front overhang and that’s about all for the moment.
The new generation of the Audi Q7 is expected to be a lot lighter than the outgoing version, just like the new Range Rover, with the model being expected to drop approximately 400 kg. A new platform will be used for the new Audi Q7 generation, which will still be shared with the VW Touareg and the Porsche Cayenne. New engines are expected too and some reports are saying that we might get to see a hybrid version of the model, over the following years. Sadly we have no more details on the 2015 Audi Q7, for the moment.
