Spyker has recently announced its plans to put the B6 Venator into production, and the model will become a rival for the Porsche 911 or the Audi R8.
After it was officially presented to the public just last month, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere, the Spyker B6 Venator is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the company reaffirming it for production. The B6 Venator, in its final production form, will sit below the C8 range.
“The response at Geneva was beyond our expectations, so there is no doubt that we will be producing the SPYKER B6 VENATOR. It is still too early to confirm production specifications. However, I can say that the final design will be very close to the SPYKER B6 VENATOR CONCEPT. It will be immediately identifiable as a Spyker”, said the founder and chief executive officer, Victor R. Muller.
The Spyker B6 Venator has a weight-to-power ratio of 8.21 pounds / HP and the total weight of the model stands at 3,080 pounds. Power is being provided by a 3.5 liter V6 mid-mounted engine, which is producing a total output of 375 HP. The final production version of the Spyker B6 Venator is expected to cost 125,000 euros.
