The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder has been recently announced and the model will be officially presented to the public later on this year.
Spyker is ending up in our news once again, after unveiling the B6 Venator Concept back in March, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, this time with an announcement, which said that a convertible version will be unveiled later on this year. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question will be named the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder and it will be based on the Coupe. This means that it will get a carbon fiber body, a lightweight aluminum chassis and some other components from its solid roof brother.
Additional details on the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder remain unknown for the moment and will be announced later on this year, probably during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in September. As a quick reminder, the Spyker B6 Venator Concept is powered by a 3.5 liter mid-mounted V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 375 HP. The unit is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which is sending power to the rear-wheel drive. The 3,080 pounds sports car will rival with models like the Porsche 911 or the Audi R8 and it will be priced from 125,000 euros.
