SRT has recently pulled the wraps off a limited edition of the new Viper generation, named the TA Viper, which will make its public debut on the 27th of March in New York.
The brand new 2014 SRT Viper TA (Time Attack) is getting a new aero package with a rear spoiler, a rear applique, lightweight Sidewinder II alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, a Brembo braking kit and the stickers fitted onto it say that the model has lost some weight. The 2014 SRT Viper TA is now weighing 1,518 kg (3,348 lbs), compared to the standard car’s 1,521 kg (3,354 lbs) and the GTS version’s 1,530 kg (3,374 lbs).
The 2014 SRT Viper VA is powered by the same 8.4 liter V10 engine found on the regular model, which is producing a total output of 640 HP (477 kW) and it has a peak torque of 814 Nm (600 lb-ft). The interior design of the limited edition is getting some orange stitching on the instrument panel, center stack, seats, hand brake lever, console, doors, steering wheel and on some other parts. The SRT Viper TA will be priced at 120,500 USD, 4,500 USD less expensive than the top of the line GTS.
