The aftermarket specialists from Prefix have recently released their first image and details on the SRT Viper Convertible, which has been named the Medusa.
Owners of the SRT Viper will be glad to find out that there will soon be a new aftermarket upgrade package available for their rides, which has been named the Medusa. This has been created by the guys from Prefix and it basically looks like the convertible came straight from factory. We can notice the retractable soft top and the slightly modified rear end, which will be enough to help the model differentiate from the standard one.
The new Medusa has been unveiled recently at the Viper Open House and it seems that it will be detailed later on today (21st of July). As a small reminder, the Viper is taking its power from a massive 8.4 liter V10 engine, which is producing a total output of 640 HP (477 kW) and 814 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to a six-speed manual transmission and the 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint takes approximately 3 seconds, while the top speed stands at 331 km/h (206 mph).
