SsangYong Actyon Sports launched in Australia image

The fourth largest South Korean based automaker SsangYong has recently announced that the Actyon Sports has been launched in Australia, where the double cab can be bought for 26, 990 AUD.

“The launch of the new SsangYong Actyon Sports shows just how far SsangYong has come. The new Korando SUV in 2011 showcased an entirely fresh style for the brand and the new Action Sports takes on the characteristics and overt styling of the previous model and now offer all the latest technology for a sub-$30k price level”, said the SsangYong Australia general manager, Jeff Barber.

According to the Australian division of SsangYong, the new Actyon is coming in three trim levels, the Actyon Tradie, with two or four-wheel drive, the Actyon Sports with two or four-wheel drive and the Actyon Sports SPR with all-wheel drive, where the first two can be ordered with a manual or automatic transmissions and the latter is only available with automatic. Power to the three versions is provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which is developing a total output of 104 kW and it has a peak torque of 310 Nm, allowing the first two version to burn an average of 8.0 liters of fuel every 100 km and 8.7 liters of fuel / 100 km in the last one. The SsangYong Actyon Sports has a hexagonal mesh radiator grille finished in chrome and chrome trimming for the headlights, and the tray is offering an area of two square meters. The starting price for the Actyon Sports is set at 26,990 AUD.
