SsangYong has released more images with its newest model, the compact crossover called the Tivoli.
Following a teaser released back in December and an official unveil during the 2015 North American International Auto Show, the SsangYong Tivoli is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some new images, which have been released by the car manufacturer. The model in question is based on the new X100 platform and it has been developed by the Mahindra-owned company, being influenced by two concepts shown last year in Paris, the XIV Air and the XIV Adventure.
The brand new SsangYong Tivoli is coming with some aggressive front and rear bumpers, with LED daytime running lights which have been integrated into the headlights, with black plastic wheel arches and several other items. As far as the interior design goes, this is getting the touch screen display for the infotainment system, the rearview camera, the Bluetooth connectivity, the dual zone climate control and seven airbags.
Power to the SsangYong Tivoli will be provided by a new 1.6 liter e-XGi 160 petrol engine, which will be good for 126 HP (93 kW) and 157 Nm (116 lb-ft) of torque. The unit will be connected to either a manual or an automatic transmission, which will help the fuel economy stand at 8.1L / 100km and 8.3L / 100km, respectively. The crossover will be going against models such as the Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur, Opel Mokka, Ford EcoSport, Chevrolet Trax and so on.
