The aftermarket specialists at Startech have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgrade package for the new Range Rover Sport, during the 2013 Essen Motor Show.
According to the tuning company, the crossover has now received features like the larger air intakes, the new front bumper, the integrated LED daytime running lights, the rear diffuser, the stainless steel sports exhaust system, the 22-inch alloy wheels, the suspension lowering module, which can reduce the ride height by 25 mm, the Alcantara upholstery and premium leather in the cabin, the exotic wood trim, the carbon fiber trim and some other tweaks, which should make the model more appealing.
As far as the engine goes, the Range Rover Sport in question, signed by Startech, is taking its power from the 3.0 liter SDV6 turbo diesel, which has been equipped with the SD30 S tuning kit, allowing it to produce a total output of 323 HP (237 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque, 31 HP (22 kW) and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft) of torque more than the standard vehicle. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes 6.9 seconds and top speed stands at 222 km/h (138 mph). No pricing details have been announced yet.
