Stephen Hawking is now a “villain” – fortunately only in Jaguar’s well known campaign, now promoting the F-Pace crossover [video] image

The well known professor Stephen Hawing – the man that is pretty much responsible for popularizing science in recent years – wouldn’t be someone you would like to mess with if he ever turned to the “Dark Side”.

But fortunately his genius-level intellect is up to no wrong and he is only being “villainous” during Jaguar’s latest commercial, which is here to promote the all-new F-Pace crossover, Jaguar’s first ever sport utility vehicle. The theme and music are also well connected to the past “British Villain” shenanigans, which last promoted the F-Type model. By the way, even Hawking said in one of his latest Twitter posts he has always wanted to play the part of a movie villain, and Jaguar appears to have gone along with the stride. “I think the wheelchair and the computer voice would fit the part,” he commented in the post.

There’s also a yet to be revealed lead actor that is manning the wheel of Jagauar’s first ever crossover in a sport manner on his way to the evil mastermind’s lair. “We’re the masters of time and space,” says Hawking after watching the record loop the loop, finishing strong: “And we all drive Jaguars. Ha ha ha.” The commercial has been filmed by Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper, who was also at the helm of other British Villain ads that previously starred well known actors such as Tom Hiddleston, Mark Strong, Nicholas Hoult and Ben Kingsley.
