The lead singer of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, has recently bought himself the fastest roadster in the world, the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.
While most superstars are “concerned” in saving the baby Pandas and leafs while hugging their own trees, Steven Tyler is proving that before the ozone layer will crack and fossil fuel will be forever extinct, we must enjoy our state-of-the-art technology. And what better way to do just that than by buying himself the fastest roadster in the world, named the Hennessy Venom GT Spyder, with its 1,244 horsepower.
The Hennessey Venom GT Spyder is actually based on the Lotus Elise but the model in question is actually the fastest in its segment. The Venom GT Spyder is powered by a 6.2 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 1,244 horsepower thanks to the two Garrett turbochargers. The mid-engine is coming in three power settings, 800, 1000 and 1244 HP and the last on is allowing the sports car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.2 seconds, while the 0 to 320 km/h acceleration is over in 15.3 seconds, 9 seconds faster than in the Bugatti Veyron. The Hennessy Venom GT Spyder costs 1.1 million USD.
