A 25-year old student in Malaysia has managed to crash very rare Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni Edition, while trying to overtake a truck, when he lost control of the wheel.
We are used to writing about supercar crashes which take place almost daily all over the globe, but sometimes these expensive rides are also very limited, like this Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni LP550-2, which has been produced in just 250 units. The driver of the supercar pictured below has lost control of the wheel while trying to overtake a truck in time. The 25-year old student wasn’t heart at all, which is more than we can say about his precious ride.
The Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni has been named after the company’s test driver, Valentino Balboni, and it’s 30 kg (66 lb) lighter, weighing in at 1,470 kg (3,241 lb). The unit found under its hood has been rated at 542 HP (405 kW). The Gallardo LP550-2 Balboni also has recalibrated E-gear transmission, full leather black upholstery with white color strips, redeveloped 45 percent limited-slip differential and, perhaps the most important feature, it has a stripe down the center of the car. The Balboni was offered in both left- and right-hand drive.
